The photograph above was taken in 1937 when Elsie Joyce, nee Spicer (photographed) visited the village. She was a granddaughter of Elizabeth Jackman who had lived in the house with her daughters circa 1850.

The copy of the photograph was kindly contributed by Rebecca Hilton, a descendant of the same Jackman family.
