Callington Petty Sessions - At these Sessions, on Thursday, before Col. Coryton and Capt. Horndon, William Jasper, of Callington, was fined 10s. and costs for furious driving at St. Mellion on the 5th February. - Thomas Webb, of the Caradon Hotel, Linkinhorne, for permitting drunkenness on his premises was fined £5, and had his licence endorsed. - William Veale summoned Thirza Thomas Miles, of Callington, for damaging a door, the property of complainant, in Back-lane, and a fine of 1s. and costs was inflicted. - Thomas Verran was fined 15s. and costs for being drunk on the 5th February on licensed premises. There were four previous convictions - John Mortimore was fined 5s. and costs for being drunk on the highway, in the parish of Calstock, on the 29th January. - Wiliam Henry Vosper, of Stokeclimaland, for having an unjust weighing machine in his possession on the 10th February last, was fined £3 1s. and costs, and to forfeit the scales.
