Callington Highway Board

This Board, at their meeting on Wednesday, granted the application of Mr. Borlase Childs, of Liskeard, for permission to lay water pipes under the highways in the parish of Calstock for the purpose of supplying the inhabitants of Harrow-barrow, Calstock, and Gunnislake with water, as a general scheme is now contemplated for that purpose by a private company.  A letter was also
read by Lord Wm. Compton, stating that he and Lady Compton had
determined to macadamise Fore-street, Callington.
